Freedom March for #LIFEWINS will be held May 6, 2016 at the Jackson, Mississippi State Capitol to help remove the stigma felt by those conceived by rape

WASHINGTON, May 1, 2016 — Fifty years ago, the state of Mississippi opened a dark, new chapter on abortion. According to Juda Myers, executive director of Choices4 Life, on May 8, 1966, the state legislature made it legal to abort children conceived in rape.
On May 6 this year, the FREEDOM MARCH #LIFEWINS wants to bring an end to prejudice against the rape-conceived.
Mississippi legislators passed House Bill 562, which paved the way for the first, legal U.S. abortion. It not only became law on Mother’s Day, but paved the way for 19 additional states to legalize abortion before Roe V. Wade.
Beginning in 2011, states began to pass a growing number of new laws to narrow abortion rights. This coincided with conservative legislative strength in states which allowed for greater protection of the unborn than in any other year since Roe V. Wade. Click Here To Read More
