Halloween: A teaching moment for Christian faith parents
By Kevin Fobbs

WASHINGTON, October 29, 2015 – As Halloween excitement builds for kids all over America, is it possible for Christian parents to celebrate a fun holiday with their children? The challenge for these families is real because Halloween has been tied to the glorification of satanic beliefs in movies, songs, literature and television.
So where does that leave those who do not want to compromise their faith?
Noted actor and successful Hollywood Christian filmmaker Kirk Cameron has recommended a pathway that many parents may find quite helpful and reassuring. Cameron pointed out that early Christians would dress up in costumes as the devil, ghosts, goblins and witches precisely to make the point that those things were defeated and overthrown by the resurrected Jesus Christ,” according to the Christian Post.
